Our Holiday Season went by way too fast as usual! Once Halloween passes, it's usually a blur. We always have somewhere to be between both sides of the family. Not to mention, Lily's Birthday is in December.
Thanksgiving is always fun. We get to see the family and give thanks for everything that God has given us. We also get to eat some good food :)) At least I got to bring something else this year besides dessert- even if it was just bread and cranberry sauce. Over Thanksgiving break I had to go back to the doctor about my back, and I was put on more medicine-Lyrica to be exact. So that puts me up to 5 mandatory meds that I have to take on a daily basis. If I skip any of these I suffer immensely from the pain in my back/legs/sciatic nerves. I also have prescription pain medicine if I need it.
Lily's birthday was celebrated a few days early so that we possibly would have a good turnout and so we along with other family members wouldn't feel rushed. She had her party at Skate America, and she LOVED it! I however was a nervous wreck. The employees didn't clarify that we only had the party room for 45 minutes, so she barely had anyone show up at her party. At least one of her friends from school showed up. I felt so bad for her, but she didn't act like it bothered her. Her friend Sara rode with her in the big skate to Justin Beiber's 'Boyfriend' song.
On to Christmas. I didn't go overboard with gifts. :) The girls were extremely excited about all of their gifts-especially the ones that they received from their Nana and Poppy-iPads!!! They seemed to enjoy each gift just the same-makes me glad that they don't hold any gift with more importance than another. I just love seeing the excitement on their faces as they open each gift and play with them. But then it was time to return to school to begin finishing out the year.
